The developers behind the recently announced RoboApe token take a multi-pronged approach to attract a wide variety of enthusiasts. By combining gaming, e-sports, charity, NFTs, and learning with a focus on utility and community, the token allows RBA holders to engage in a wide variety of events, and help to determine future developments through a rigorous voting system.
Currently, only a small percentage of the tokens are available through a pre-sale, with more being released in the latter half of July, and the official launch scheduled for the end of August. The pre-sale stage will release 270 million tokens or 22% of the overall total.
RoboApe has been designed as a deflationary token that motivates users to take part in community events. Each transaction completed using the new token will incur a small fee. To increase the value of the tokens with each transaction, half of the fee will be immediately burned, while the other half will be returned to RAB wallet holders as an encouragement for holding on to their tokens.
While the token is being built on the Ethereum network, one of the earliest planned developments in the RoboApe roadmap is the RoboApe Swap. This feature will create a bridge across several networks, which allows token holders to swap their tokens across different blockchains.
