ERTC CPA Rebate Service | Small Business Pandemic Tax Credit Application Launch – Emerald Journal

In December 2020, when the Consolidated Appropriations Act was passed, it expanded the eligibility for the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) program. Companies that have already received a loan through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) can now qualify for tax credits, using the fast rebate service launched by JFT Web Marketing.

Employers can complete their entire application with a minimum time commitment, through the 15 Minute Refund program launched in partnership with a firm of ERTC specialist CPAs. The program is only available from a single CPA firm and guarantees employers their maximum allowable rebate.

Rebates will vary based on several factors, but employers who kept staff on the payroll throughout the pandemic may claim as much as $26,000 per employee. Unlike the PPP, these tax credits are not a loan. There are no restrictions on how the funds can be spent, and they never need to be repaid.

To claim a rebate with the 15 Minute Refund program, employers will first be asked to complete the no-cost, no-obligation eligibility assessment. The assessment is available to all companies and non-profits and can determine if they qualify for a rebate using the answers to 10 simple questions, with no proprietary business information required.

After completing the assessment, employers will receive a link to a secure server where they can complete their claim with the help of the specialist CPA team. They will be asked to upload their 941 returns, raw payroll data, and PPP loan documents, which the CPAs will use to calculate their exact rebate and complete the paperwork.

New businesses founded after February 15, 2020, can qualify for rebates under a special category, as a Recovery Startup Business. They may be eligible for up to $100,000 in rebates as long as they have at least one employee who is not a family member or 50% owner, and gross receipts of less than $1 million.

Non-profits may also be eligible for tax credits, including churches, schools, hospitals, medical clinics, and performing arts centers.

There is no up-front cost to claim a rebate and no cost at all to any company that does not qualify or does not receive a rebate.
