Paolo Zanetti, head coach of the Empoli football team, was fired after his team’s poor results, and Aurelio Andrazzoli was announced as his replacement.
On Sunday night, in the fourth week of the new Serie A season, Empoli lost against Roma with a score of 7-0, having lost their previous three games. This team has scored 12 goals and scored only one goal in the 4 games it has played.
This is Andreazzoli’s fourth coaching term at Empoli. Previously, he was in charge of this team in the 2021-22 season, and his students, who were among the main candidates for relegation at the beginning of the season, ended their work in the 14th place of the table. At the end of that season, Andrazzoli ended his career at Empoli and was replaced by Zanetti. Now, however, the story is reversed and it is Andrazoli who replaces Zanthi.
